Humera
Fasihuddin
President and CEO, Humera Fasihuddin co-founded Edical May after four years of
spearheading the MA-based Regional Technology Corporation.
A catalyst for technology-based economic development, Fasihuddin
was recruited by the University of Massachusetts Amherst to
spearhead the development of three technology cluster networks:
TEC (IT and Communications), MMTN (Materials and Manufacturing)
and BETA (BioEconomic Technology Alliance). Fasihuddin began
her career at materials manufacturer Intelicoat in South Hadley
(also known as Rexam Graphics, Graphic Technology International,
James River and Scott Graphics). In addition to holding
positions in manufacturing and R&D, Fasihuddin managed a $40 million
business unit in the CAD arena and cultivated a new digital
proofing business unit. She recently also established her own consulting practice, Humera
LLC (www.humera.com). Fasihuddin earned her MBA from UMASS
Amherst in 2000 and her B.S. in Mathematics (minor in Economics)

Bud
Beaudry
Chief Operating Officer
Bud Beaudry
is also a co-founder of Edical May. Bud is also the President and Founder of BTP Systems, a company
he founded and has grown to $1 million in revenue in 13 months.
In that time, he has built a team of 5 employees that bring
engineering, procurement, quality and technical talent. To build robust manufacturing capabilities,
Beaudry has forged meaningful and effective relationships with
third-party strategic partners. Beaudry brings to Edical
May and BTP Systems
10 years of experience building and growing the Satellite
Communications Department at Millitech Inc. from $1 million to
$12 million. In this capacity, Beaudry was the program manager
on all production programs, negotiated multi-year contracts with
Raytheon and establishing expanded internal capabilities to form
a “turn-key system” approach. During that time, Beaudry was
responsible for all aspects of marketing and strategic
positioning of Satcom capabilities with Raytheon. Also in that
time, Beaudry was responsible for growing the business from 6 to
42 employees and expanding facilities capabilities from 1,200 sf
to 34,000 sf. Beaudry led the company to opportunities in NESP,
MDR, STICS, WSC-6, and MILSTAR defense programs.
Dave Salvage
Dave Salvage is the Director of Engineering for Edical May.
He commissioned as an Ensign in the U.S. Navy where he reported to
the USS RUSSELL, a guided missile destroyer under construction,
as the ship’s first Electrical Officer. He spent a year
overseeing the installation and testing of the ship’s electrical
and internal communications systems, after which the ship was
commissioned and sailed to her home port in Pearl Harbor, HI.
Dave took over as the ship’s Combat Information Center (CIC)
Officer for a six month deployment to the Persian Gulf during
which he was a prime user of the ship’s communications, radar
and weapon systems. After completing his service with the
Navy, he returned to New England and served as an engineer at Rexam
Graphics and Dielectric Polymers. During this time Dave was
certified as a Six Sigma Black Belt and managed technical
relationships with customers such as Dupont and HP. Dave
working for Bud Beaudry as a Program Manager at
Millitech where he led the manufacture and test of satellite
antenna systems for submarines (Navy Submarine High Data Rate,
Sub HDR, and Navy EHF Satellite Program, NESP) and the Army’s
Ground Receive Terminal (GRT). He received his mechanical
engineering degree from Cornell University.
Frank
Fasano
Frank
Fasano is Director of Quality with Edical May. With
13 years of professional manufacturing and
Quality Assurance experience, Frank holds a Six Sigma Blackbelt
certificate and a BS in Plastics Engineering from the University
of Lowell. Frank was the Director of Quality at United
Plastics Group, Inc. and Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer at
Millitech, Inc. prior to forming his own consulting practice.
Frank's professional training includes ISO9001-2000, Lean Manufacturing,
and Management Education. A Six Sigma Blackbelt, Frank is
also a Member of the American Society for Quality. He
holds a B.S. in Plastics Engineering from University of
Massachusetts at Lowell. While at Millitech, Frank was recognized by Raytheon as outstanding contributor to Minuteman
Missile Program, MMP.
